The Macedon Ranges have a long and fascinating history, and the history of Mount Macedon Winery is no different.
Located on the western slopes of Mount Macedon and overlooking the Black Forest Valley, MMW sits at 680m above sea level, making it one of the highest altitude wineries in Australia.
Planted in 1989, MMW was originally owned by Olivia Newton-John, as part of her Koala Blue wine range. The altitude and cool climate that once attracted Olivia, add to the sweet flavours and complexities of the wine produced from Mount Macedon Winery.
The property has passed a few hands since then, and now resides earnestly with Dylan and Elisha, who are dedicated to ensuring that Mount Macedon Winery is a relaxed setting for the perfect wedding, a romantic getaway, or memorable event.
